While many of our barricades meet with walls to totally enclose a storefront, sometimes we run across a unique project that needs a totally freestanding solution like we did for Amazon in Westfield Santa Anita in Arcadia California. A project like this poses real challenges because of the need to engineer bracing that will create a safe, structurally sound barricade, all while allowing the contractor and his team the room they need to get the job done. Add in additional obstructions from surrounding columns, storefronts, and kiosks, and we had a real challenge on our hands. Ultimately, we quickly created a solution that met everyone’s needs, making for a happy brand, mall, and contractor.
